Kaplan University 2016 Graduates
I couldn't be happier to share some GREAT NEWS about Kaplan University.
The University has received Reaffirmation of Accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), our regional accreditor. This determination continues the institution's accreditation through to the 2025–2026 academic year.
An exhaustive peer review process reconfirms approval of Kaplan University's educational programs and integrity of operations. The regularly scheduled process included a thorough peer review of our assurance argument, in addition to visits to seven of our campuses.
This outcome recognizes our faculty and staff's tireless dedication to making a positive lasting difference for our students and the community-at-large.
Kay K. Runge, chairperson of Kaplan University's Board of Trustees, commented, "Kaplan University remains steadfast in its longstanding commitment to provide its students with a high quality affordable education that gives them a good return on their educational investment."
The HLC, founded in 1895, is one of six regional institutional accreditors in the United States. Recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, the HLC accredits approximately one-third of U.S. regionally accredited public and private institutions.
