Lt. Gen. Normand Lezy

Normand Lezy is principal of Lezy Strategies, LLC, a firm focused on providing government and corporate affairs guidance. Lt. Gen. Lezy retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1999, following 34 years of service, at the grade of Lieutenant General. He spent more than a dozen years in senior-level assignments at the Pentagon. Before he retired from active duty, he was the Senior Military Officer on Secretary of Defense William Cohen’s staff and was Principal Advisor to the Under Secretary of Defense (Personnel and Readiness) on all personnel policies for all branches of the U.S. military. In that capacity, he was responsible for policies affecting active-duty and retired military personnel, veterans, and their dependents.

Lt. Gen. Lezy received his Bachelor of Arts in Government and Air Force ROTC Commission from St. Michaels College and his Master of Arts in Management from Webster University. He is a graduate of the Joint Armed Forces Staff College, the Air Force Air War College, the University of New Hampshire–Whittemore School of Business Senior Executive Development Program, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology National Security Executive Development Program.
