One piece of advice Mary would like to give current students: "Keep moving towards your goals and use the resources you have to reach them. The faculty and fellow students at Kaplan [University] were always very supportive and helpful in assisting me reach my goals. They would go above and beyond and all I had to do was ask for the help. You are all there to reach your goals and it takes time, commitment, and determination to reach them, so remember to ask for help when you need it."
How was pursing your education at Kaplan University helpful in developing you as a professional? “Pursing my education was essential to helping develop my skill in my career. My instructors gave me such good advice and gave such great insight on their work experiences. That has greatly helped me work to manage people in the projects I work on."
One thing Mary learned about herself while going back to school: “One thing I learned about myself was that I’m not too old to learn new things and very capable of achieving anything I want if I set my mind in the right direction."
