Tammy Williams

Ms. Williams joined Kaplan University in 2012 as an adjunct faculty teaching in the RN-to-BSN program. She has taught in health assessment, community, research, leadership, as well as the capstone course. In addition, she is a member of the Science Gel Committee for Kaplan University.

Prior to joining Kaplan University, Ms. Williams was a faculty member at John Tyler Community College, in Midlothian, Virginia. She taught medical-surgical nursing as well as a leadership course. Her nursing experience focuses on medical-surgical nursing, women’s health, oncology, mental health, and critical care. She has worked with state and national regulatory agencies as well as accrediting bodies.

Ms. Williams received her BS and MS in Nursing at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia. She earned her PhD in Education at Capella University.
