Anthony "Tony" Mangiafico
Dr. Mangiafico has been a part of Kaplan University School of Nursing adjunct faculty since 2008, leading coursework in epidemiology for master’s and doctoral students, conducting master’s-level coursework in the areas of physiology, pharmacology, and research.
He has worked in graduate and undergraduate nursing school faculty since 1998 in academic institutions including diploma and associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs. He has experience in clinical work with persons living with infectious diseases and as an advanced practitioner treating mental health patients in a private practice setting. Dr. Mangiafico's areas of focus include post-traumatic stress disorder, gender issues, chronic medical illness, infectious disease, dissociative disorders and substance abuse disorders.
Previous career experience includes executive level management and operations of multiple psychiatric hospitals all over the United States.
