Dr. Tamara Fudge

Dr. Fudge taught two dozen different courses in voice and foreign language diction, choral music, song literature, opera, theory, and composition at colleges and universities in Virginia, Wisconsin, Kansas, and Illinois before a brief stint working in the financial industry. In 2002, Dr. Fudge returned to the academic life at the Davenport, Iowa, campus of Kaplan University, teaching critical thinking, effective writing, interpersonal communication, diversity and culture, software applications, and other courses before moving to the online School of Information Technology. She is a Microsoft Office Specialist Master in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access andconcentrates her teaching now in various aspects of web development, human-computer interaction, and IT consulting skills. Over the span of her career, she has served as author, co-author, researcher, and/or editor for several different writing projects.

Dean’s Message:

Dr. Fudge received an Outstanding Full-Time Faculty Award at Kaplan University during the summer of 2009 and is a two-time Innovations Lab Fellow (through the Center for Teaching and Learning) at Kaplan University. She has had her own music compositions played on public radio in Atlanta, GA, and Rock Island, IL, at a Kansas state choral convention, and several universities and colleges.
