Randy’s professional experience includes more than 15 years of experience as an information systems consultant and over 5 years’ experience as a software trainer and teacher.
In addition to Randy’s professional experience, he has over 10 years of teaching and curriculum design experience in a variety of content areas and across several colleges and universities. Randy also maintains his CISSP and MCSE certifications, and his interests include a variety of security engineering topics: routers, firewalls, risk analysis, contingency planning, disaster recovery planning, business continuity planning, penetration testing, vulnerability testing, configuration management, Windows admin, and Unix/Linux hardening.
Randy is a member of the International System Security Association, International Information System Security Certification Consortium, Inc., Federal Information Systems Security Educators’ Association (FISSEA), Adam Smith Institute, and American Mensa, Ltd.
