Dr. Michael Snell
Dr. Michael Snell is a faculty member for the Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration program. He specializes in health care administration, health care policy and economics and quality improvement.
With more than 20 years of managerial health care experience, Dr. Snell has worked for a variety of private, nonprofit, and government health care entities, including the Washington State Medical Quality Assurance Commission. He was appointed and re-appointed to the Commission by the governor of Washington. He served in this role for 6 years, during which he helped establish the policies and procedures for the practice of health care in the state.
He received his Executive Juris Doctorate from Concord Law School, a Doctor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a bachelor’s degree in social science from Washington State University. Additionally, Dr. Snell earned a Master Certificate in Six Sigma and a Master Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University.
