Sharon Brown began teaching for Kaplan University part time in April 2009 and became a full-time faculty member in November 2009. Having moved from Florida nearly 15 years ago, Ms. Brown currently lives in North Carolina with her husband and children.
“Ms. Brown completed her master’s degree completely online from 2004 to 2006, while working full time and raising a family. Her four children have been highly supportive of her academic achievements, so much so that her oldest two daughters have just completed their own master’s degrees.
Upon becoming a full-time professor, she also became a coadvisor for the Student Accounting Association (SAA), and became its main advisor in March 2010, working closely with students as a professor and professional mentor.”
