Sharon Brown

Sharon Brown began teaching for Kaplan University part time in April 2009 and became a full-time faculty member in November 2009. Having moved from Florida nearly 15 years ago, Ms. Brown currently lives in North Carolina with her husband and children.

Dean’s Message:
“Ms. Brown completed her master’s degree completely online from 2004 to 2006, while working full time and raising a family. Her four children have been highly supportive of her academic achievements, so much so that her oldest two daughters have just completed their own master’s degrees.

Upon becoming a full-time professor, she also became a coadvisor for the Student Accounting Association (SAA), and became its main advisor in March 2010, working closely with students as a professor and professional mentor.”
