Dr. David Adu-Boateng, DBA

Dr. David Adu-Boateng is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a certified information systems auditor (CISA). He has over 20 years of experience in accounting, accounting systems implementation, and financial and information systems auditing.

Dr. Adu-Boateng spent six of those years working for a large health care system, with the responsibility of evaluating, auditing, and analyzing health care contracts (including medical claims data audit and analysis); budgeting; and program performance. Dr. Adu-Boateng has worked on many projects involving designing and implementing accounting applications, accounting report writing, General Ledger administration, and business process engineering.

Dr. Adu-Boateng has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) for over 15 years. In following his interest in fraud detection and prevention solutions, Dr. Adu-Boateng worked with a chamber of commerce and other groups in Ghana to deliver presentations and offer professional advisory services through Globiz Institute of Business Technology, an organization he founded.

Dr. Adu-Boateng has enjoyed the opportunity and challenges of helping to raise his three children.
