Alfred Greenfield, PhD
While completing his bachelor and doctorate degrees, Dr. Alfred C. Greenfield worked a full-time job, two part-time jobs (including a teaching assistant position at the university during his doctorate) and raised eight children.
Prior to returning to school, he was a restaurant manager for a few different chains. He started at Pizza Hut as an assistant manager and then a general manager for five years. Afterwards he worked for Papa John’s for some time, and then became an area manager for Subway working for a private owner with seven stores. He finally worked as a general manager for Sbarro’s Italian Eatery.
After 10 years, he returned to school. While working on his degree, he also worked as an accounts payable manager for a Fortune 500 Financial company as well as an accounts receivable manager for an oil refinery company (corn and sunflower oil). Dr. Greenfield also loves to bowl and has bowled a perfect 300 in a state tournament.
“Dr. Alfred Greenfield has been a faculty member for the Kaplan University Accounting Department within the School of Business and Information Technology since 2005. Prior to Kaplan University, Dr. Greenfield taught online and enjoyed the online classroom environment very much. He is a member of the American Accounting Association, Beta Alpha Psi National Honors Fraternity for Accounting Majors, The Institute of Managerial Accountants, Golden Key National Honors Society, and Beta Sigma Gama International Honors Society.”
