A Part of the Community

In 2007, the Omaha campus was established as a part of Kaplan University. Our state-of-the-art building is conveniently located, and we maintain close ties within our community. The campus hosts onsite and online workshops and career fairs open to both students and the public. In addition, we participate in industry- and community-based events such as Dentist Assistant Week and Nurses Week. 

The Omaha campus offers associate’s, bachelor’s, and master's degrees as well as a doctorate degree in nursing. We also offer a variety of certificates. Students have access to:

Student Life at Omaha, NE Campus

Kaplan University, Omaha campus, offers a variety of student life activities that could help you further your personal and professional goals.

Health Sciences Club: This organization is open to students enrolled in the University’s medical assisting, dental assisting, or nursing programs. Members are actively involved in the community and hold nursing home events and visit neighboring schools. Activities also include fundraisers, campus health fairs, and more.

Justice Club: Seminars with guest speakers, campus presentations on safety awareness, and crime scene investigation field trips are just some of the activities for members.

Student Government: In addition to publishing the campus newspaper, members participate in community projects, such as Habitat for Humanity and clothing/food drives, and regularly meet with the Campus President.

IT Club: Members gain hands-on experience through computer repair and diagnostic testing for student computer needs. In addition, the organization hosts guest speakers with ties to the technology field.

Business Club: Events sponsored by the organization include financial/tax information workshops, collection drives, and business fashion shows.
