Kate Packard is the current president at Kaplan University, Nebraska campuses. She holds a master's degree in teaching and learning from Kaplan University and a bachelor's degree in human resources and family science from University of Nebraska, Lincoln. She started as an Admissions Advisor with Kaplan University eight years ago and has worked her way up through various roles, landing her in her current position. She was awarded the Director of Admissions of the Year honor in 2009 for the Midwest region.
Kate has also worked as an adjunct instructor in the business and general education schools, which gives her unique insight into the needs of Kaplan University students. She has served as the ground campus representative for the Blended Learning Task Force in 2007 and 2008, participated on the National Admissions Advisory Board in 2009 and, most recently, is member of the Kaplan University Difference Makers initiative. Her personal goal is to complete a doctoral degree in higher education.
