Education Advisors support students throughout their learning experience and are an integral part of the student experience at Kaplan University. Advisors assist with course registration, provide an overview of the online learning experience, and share learning and study strategies. Before you even begin your chosen program of study, the education advising team is dedicated to helping you every step of the way on your path toward graduation.
Education Advisors are assigned to students based on their program, degree, and affiliation (e.g., branch of the military). As a result, Education Advisors are qualified to speak to students about their course requirements and electives and help students tailor their program to their academic and career goals. They can also determine whether existing college credits and professional skills can count as credit toward a Kaplan University degree or certificate, potentially saving students time and money.
