    Community Children’s Book Drive

    Now through Sept. 25, donate new or gently used children’s books (ages 0—11 years old). Collected books will be used for the Hagerstown Rotary Literacy Initiative in Washington County. Your book will help a child learn to read. It could be the first book a child has every owned! The collection box will be in the Learning Commons.

    Hershey Park Tickets

    Due to an excess amount, we have reduced the price of the tickets that are left to $25 each. They are available to our students, staff, and faculty while supplies last. We can only accept cash (exact amount) or a credit card. The tickets are good through the end of September, general admission, and are available in Student Services.

    Parking

    Effective immediately, there will no longer be parking allowed in the CTC building lot. Please use the parking spaces in front of the Administration Building and behind Fawley Hall. The spaces directly in front of the Administration Building are reserved for visitors only.

    Reminders

    •  The campus will be closed from Saturday—Monday, May 28-30, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
    • The campus will be closed every Saturdays beginning June 4.
    • New Hagerstown Campus Hours: beginning Wednesday, March 2, the campus will be closing at 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. As usual, the campus will close every Friday at 4:00 pm.

    • Smoking is only permitted in the Hagerstown courtyard and not at any of the building entrances.

    • Please drive safely and follow the directional arrows painted on the pavement in the Fawley Hall parking lot in front of the courtyard. Stay safe, follow the rules, and avoid a collision by going the wrong way.

    Shop With a Sheriff

    This holiday season the Washington County Sheriff’s Department will identify children in need who have displayed good citizenship to ride with a deputy and their guardian in a patrol car to go shopping for clothing, toys, and even gifts for their families. Afterwards, they will all return to the Sheriff’s Office for a meal. Your monetary donations, in any amount, will go to both the children and the meal. Please give your contribution to anyone in Student Services. Thank you for your generosity.
