  • Women play an important role in public service by committing their careers, time, and passion to making a difference in their communities, society, and the world. Nonprofits like the Women in Public Service Project are working to empower women to enter the public sector or leadership roles in politics that will help the world deal with global challenges.

At Kaplan University, our College of Social and Behavioral Sciences empowers students by preparing them to meet the demands of a public service career. Our faculty focuses on preparing students to pursue careers that educate, protect, and improve people’s lives and communities.

In recognition of the Women in Public Service Project and Women’s History Month, we are featuring women from the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, including faculty and students, who have made a difference in the world through their prior work in public service.

We invite you to learn about Kaplan University’s Women in Public Service who have committed their time to educating those who aspire to enter public service or are preparing to advance their public service knowledge and career. The women below have worked in public service and share with us some highlights of their public service careers. If you would like to learn more about them, we invite you to click on their names to read more about their experiences.
