  • What I Actually Do - Educator Thumb

It’s not all about shorter work days and summer vacations for teachers. Educators play one of the most important roles in society by preparing the future generations. Learn more about teacher’s work in the classroom as we celebrate what they actually do every day. In our “What I Actually Do: Educator” video, we highlight some of the common misconceptions that different people have about educators. In the end we show you an example of the great work that educators do every day.

Educators shape and support lives in communities by guiding students and teaching them new skills or subjects that can shape their futures. At Kaplan University we recognize the importance of an education career and the role that educators play. We are committed to helping students develop the skills relevant to today's workplace. Our degrees in teacher education, higher education, instructional technology and design, education, and educational psychology are designed to offer interactive learning opportunities.

After watching the video we ask the following question: What do you want to do? Visit our School of Education page and see what our graduate education programs and experienced faculty members could offer you.
