    Giving During the Holiday Season

During the month of December several holidays are celebrated including Christmas, Kwanzaa, or Hanukkah.  The holidays can be a good time for giving or spending time with family.  Many people find December to be a great opportunity to help others enjoy the holidays and who may be struggling through difficult times.

In celebration of the holiday season the Center for Public Service is featuring an article about helping those in need, stories on students that are making a difference in the lives of families, and organizations that support children in need and charities.

If you are interested in giving back this holiday season, the center has also listed various events around the United States that may offer volunteer opportunities.
