    National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

    The Center for Public Service is helping spread awareness of developmental disabilities during National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month in March. The Center if featuring articles by faculty about working with special needs children and techniques to help parents and teachers help students with learning or developmental disabilities. Started in 1987 by President Ronald Reagan, Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month urging all American to encourage others living with learning or developmental disabilities and help them find opportunities for leading a productive life where they could achieve their full potential. We invite you to learn more about developmental disabilities and share any information you feel will benefit a parent or teacher working with a disabled student or that would help someone who is developmentally disabled.
