  • Dr. Tracy Towne

    Dr. Tracy Towne is a full-time faculty member with Kaplan University and graduated from Edgewood College Madison, Wisconsin, with a major in nursing and a minor in psychology in 1998 and from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Nursing with a Master of Science in Nursing in medical/surgical nursing education in 2003. She earned a certificate in parish nursing in 2007 from Marian University and a certification in legal nursing in 2009. 

    Dr. Towne has worked in a variety of specialties such as medical/surgical nursing, public health nursing, school nursing, obstetrics, pre-op, long-term care, home health/private duty nursing, and investigational research drug therapy. She has worked at a variety of health care institutions ranging from small rural hospitals to major medical facilities. Dr. Towne has spent the last 7 years working in nursing education in associate's degree and Bachelor of Science in Nursing completion programs, and worked as a clinical nurse specialist for University of Wisconsin-Madison Transplant Unit. She completed her PhD in 2015
