Cynthia Lewis-Washington
Cynthia Lewis-Washington attended the University of South Alabama where she received her Master of Science
in Nursing with certification as a family nurse practitioner in 2003. Upon
completion of this degree, she began teaching at the University of South
Alabama College of Nursing as adjunct faculty. She has also taught at a local
community college, providing clinical and classroom guidance to nursing
students in adult health, geriatrics, maternal-child, and pediatrics. She began
teaching nursing courses in the online learning environment at University of
Phoenix in October 2007. Dr. Lewis-Washington completed her Doctor of
Nursing Practice at the University of Birmingham School of Nursing in August 2009.
