Graduate Ariana Den Hartog on "Following Footsteps"
Growing up with a father on the police force, Ariana Den Hartog had dreams of following in his footsteps one day. Earning her associate's and bachelor's degrees in criminal justice at Kaplan University were her first steps. While completing her program's internship, she was hired as a correctional officer. Within a year she was promoted to counselor. As a mother working full time, online classes gave Ariana the opportunity and time to pursue her dream. She is currently working on her master's.
