    Barb Sonnenberg

    A graduate from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science in English Education and Master of Science in Educational and Administrative Leadership, Barb has taught high school English for twenty years. In addition, she has acted as instructional leader, teacher mentor, and department chairperson during that time. Over the years, she has worked to earn the position of middle school and high school principal in the Milwaukee area for 14 years. She currently teaches classes in reading and writing instructional methods and assessment for middle and high school teacher candidates at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as well as supervising student teachers in the Milwaukee public school system. She truly enjoys teaching Pathways to Academic Success at Kaplan University, where she have worked for five years preparing new students as they begin their college careers.
