San Diego, CA - Onboard the USS Midway Museum in San Diego, the American Freedom Foundation hosted their annual Freedom Festival featuring a performance by Clearance Clearwater Revisited.  At the festival, which raises money for the many charities supported by the American Freedom Foundation, Kaplan University announced that two full scholarships and an unlimited amount of partial scholarships will be awarded to military spouses and dependents.

Applicants must have a grade point average of at least 3.75 to be eligible for the full scholarships and at least a 3.0 grade point average to qualify for a partial scholarship. Scholarship applications are available online at www.scholarshipamerica.org/aff and must be submitted by October 31, 2013.

This is the third time Kaplan University, a leader in higher education, and the American Freedom Foundation, an organization committed to honoring members of the armed forces, have teamed up to offer the scholarship program for the spouses and dependents of active-duty service members.

Kaplan University offers a multitude of services for online military students, which includes help from specially trained admissions, academic and financial aid advisors in the Military Student Support Center.
