Kaplan University has launched a partnership with the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) to offer the General Education Mobile (GEM) program. GEM, which will include five Kaplan University online courses, assists members of the Air Force seeking to fulfill the general education requirements for an associate’s degree.

“The Community College of the Air Force’s GEM can be instrumental in the educational success of those serving in the Air Force,” said Kelly Ernce, executive director of Military Affairs at Kaplan University. “These courses provide the foundation for college studies, and prepare students for higher level courses and greater degree options all in a mobile format for members of the military who cannot attend college in a traditional classroom setting.”

Kaplan University also participates in the Air University Associates to Baccalaureate Cooperative Program (AUABC). This program allows those who have completed their CCAF associate’s degree to transfer their credits into a Kaplan University online bachelor’s degree program.
