Graduate Tuition Rates for Veterans and Active Duty
Kaplan University reduces tuition between 12 to 22 percent depending on program of study and military status. You can find military tuition information on each program’s page. Kaplan University also participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program for all our online graduate programs. For eligible veterans, this results in the VA contributing more per credit based on a match of what Kaplan University provides. This can result in 100 percent coverage of tuition and fee costs for eligible veterans.
Military tuition assistance may pay up to $166 per quarter credit hour to a maximum of $4,500 per year. If you wish to take more than four to five courses per year, eligible servicemembers may use Top-Up benefits from the GI Bill to cover the balance.

Military Spouse Tuition Rates
As the spouse of a military servicemember, you make many personal sacrifices for the good of your spouse’s military career and our country. When Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders are issued, life changes overnight.
Unfortunately, these sacrifices often stand in the way of educational pursuits. Kaplan University’s online degree programs allow you to continue your education, no matter where in the world your family is stationed.*
If your spouse is currently serving in the U.S. military as an active-duty servicemember, or is a drilling member of the National Guard and Reserve, you may be eligible for a 10 percent reduction off the regular tuition rate.
