From Past to Present in Lincoln
Kaplan University, Lincoln campus, was founded in 1884 as the Lincoln School of Commerce; 140 years later, it became a branch campus of Iowa’s Hamilton College. In 2007, all seven Hamilton College campuses became part of Kaplan University.
Our state-of-the-art building opened in the heart of downtown Lincoln in 2009, just steps from the state capitol, and we maintain close ties within our community and surrounding communities. The Lincoln campus offers a variety of associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees with the flexible choice of day, night, and online classes.
In 2011 and 2012, GI Jobs magazine included the Lincoln campus in the top 20 percent of military-friendly schools in the country.
