    John P. Gray

    John Gray has taught at the college level for more than 20 years, and has spent 9 of these years teaching for Kaplan University. Currently, he teaches master's-level legal studies courses in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences. John is a practicing attorney who focuses primarily on business and tax law. He is a member of the Washington, DC Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar, and is licensed to practice law in Alabama, the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Courts in Alabama, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, and the U.S. Tax Court. 

    John earned his LLM in Tax Law from the University of Alabama School of Law, his Juris Doctor from Faulkner University/Jones School of Law, and his Master of Business Administration from Samford University. Prior to that, he received a master's degree from Lipscomb University and bachelor's degrees from Heritage Christian University and the University of North Alabama. During the final year of his JD program, John served as editor in chief of the law review. He has been published in Paralegal Reporter and Facts and Findings, and with the Institute for Criminal Justice Education.
