Education Advisors
Education Advisors helps support our students throughout their learning experience and are an integral part of the student experience at Kaplan University. Before students begin their chosen program of study, Education Advisors welcome them to Kaplan University by assisting them with course registration, providing an overview of the online learning experience, and making sure they get off to a good start.
Education Advising teams are assigned to students based on their program, degree, and affiliation (e.g., branch of the military). As a result, Education Advisors are qualified to speak to students about their course requirements and electives and help students tailor their program to their academic and career goals. They can also discuss how existing college credits and professional skills could translate into learning credit, potentially saving students time and money.
While instructors teach and motivate students inside the online classroom, Education Advisors provide students with academic support outside of class. They help students evaluate their academic progress, share learning and study strategies, and direct them to other support departments. In short, Education Advisors are dedicated to helping students every step of the way on the path toward graduation.
