Learning Center Experience
We stand behind our academic quality.Try our classes before you owe any tuition. That's the Kaplan Commitment.
At Kaplan University, we are committed to your education, your goals—you. That's why we've introduced the Kaplan Commitment℠. We believe you should have the opportunity to experience Kaplan University for an introductory period with no tuition obligation. It's part of our core principles that ground us, guide us, and ensure our dedication to helping you succeed.
We believe in your talent.
Kaplan University was founded on the belief that every person with talent, regardless of age or circumstance, deserves the chance to develop it. We recognize the value of real-world experience and previously earned credits to ensure no eligible student wastes time or money on courses and skills already attained.
We believe if we’re not right for you then you shouldn’t be financially obligated to us.
The Kaplan Commitment is a new way for you to get to know us and for us to get to know you. There's no financial obligation beyond the application fee. It's available to new students, online or on campus. It's simple. Here’s how it works:
Additional terms may apply to international students and non-U.S. citizens. International students are defined as individuals who live outside the United States, excluding members of the U.S. military, and who are not eligible for Title IV funding or are eligible for Title IV funding but choose not to use that funding.
We believe in support that begins before you enroll and prepares you for success after you graduate.
You'll get personalized support from a network of financial, education, and admissions advisors. They take into account the individual demands of your life. Whether it's explaining your financial aid options or helping you select the right courses for you, you won't be on your own. Once enrolled, you'll learn from professors who bring valuable, real-world experience. Along the way, you can take advantage of career services including resume workshops and interviewing, networking webinars, and our alumni network.
We believe a university should adapt to its students—not the other way around.
We understand nontraditional students—working parents, late bloomers, career changers—have obligations beyond school. As a university that's student driven for driven students, you'll attend classes in a flexible learning environment with schedules designed to fit your life. With the freedom to take classes on campus, or online, on your terms, you have the opportunity meet academic requirements without sacrificing personal or professional duties.
We believe in surrounding you with faculty and advisors dedicated to your success.
Our online math, science, technology, and writing centers offer support whenever, wherever you have an Internet connection. Our professors are just a click away. You can email them directly from the classroom or contact them during online office hours. Campus students have access in person through regular office hours.
* Classes count toward a degree if satisfactorily completed. No credits are earned if the student withdraws during the introductory period (3 weeks for undergraduate students), which begins day one of the first term. Students who choose to continue their studies at the University will need to meet specific requirements. Graduate programs not included. Additional terms may apply to international and non-U.S. citizen students. For further information, see the University Catalog and the Kaplan Commitment Statement. Application fee waived for campus and learning center students through December 31, 2016.
